Yesterday, met up with Nisa to do 3 things: Send her laptop to ACER for repair, Sell my spoilt laptop and SHOPPING!

As it was a weekend yesterday, the service center open for half day only so we met up early, around 10am near one of the void deck and walked over to take the bus. The journey was fast even though the place that we were going was Jurong. I thought we actually took like only 15mins to reach there when the supposedly estimated time was 30mins...haha..anyway, when we reached the service center, the place was crowded with people, well, no surprised since it was a weekend. We queued up at the repair queue and not long it was our turn. Nisa told the man the problems of her laptop and the conclusion was to leave behind the laptop for checking and repairing. He handed a form for her to fill up and after that queue up again and hand it up to some other staffs. End of our 1st to do list of the day.

Next, we set off to Sim Lim Square to have my "century" old, spoilt laptop for sales..we took a bus from JE Interchange...and god...it was a long long long journey that even our butts were tired of sitting...the 2 passengers sitting near me seems frustrated with the long journey too as I overheard them complaining to each other that the bus driver drove too slowly..but I think it's due to more of the heavy traffic congestion and not the speed of the driver...after a long full hour or so...we finally reached! While crossing the road to go to Sim Lim, a middle aged man turned his head around, somewhat seems to be grinning, mumbling some words and doing some action, pointing somewhere towards me. He seems perfectly normal, not that type that has got some mental problems...we actually thought he was trying to talk to someone behind so we turned to look behind but there wasn't anyone who seems to be responding to him at all...we were completely puzzled...then he turned back again, like trying to control his laughter...same behaviour but this time his words that are forming on his lip got clearer....Z.I.P! I looked down and my pants' zip was open=.=!!! (Let me first emphasise, I did zip up before going out ok but I think it's because it's a cheap quality pants that's why the zip can just "unzip" itself unknowingly which actually happens a few times already=.=) At that time, I felt so embarrassed and disgusted...I don't know whether to be grateful to him or to hate him after all this was not a glamorous thing when it happen to you in public and especially when you are a girl...grrrrrrrr..luckily I had my laptop with me which I can use it as a "shield" and luckily there's a shopping center just right after we crossed the road which I could easily find a toilet. After that very embarassing moment, we continued to walk towards the Sim Lim Sq. We went from one shop to another to find out how much are they willing to offer me...I was hoping to get about $100-200, but well after I talked to the shop owners, my expectations just keep falling..most said my laptop wouldn't worth much because my motherboard is spoilt and I took out the hard disk...so what's left are considered worthless and they would only accept between $50-60 even after bargains...so after trying for the 3rd shop which offer me a better rate, I thought that more or less most shops would have offer me this range given the conditions of my laptop so in the end I got rid of the laptop for $80...End of our 2nd to do list.

After that, we head to Bugis for our lunch by walking. And oh ya, that was when I actually realised Serangoon(where Sim Lim is located) is very near Bugis. It's like as if we were walking through a boundary like what we saw in those enchanted movies. LOL!I have always thought Serangoon is very far away from Bugis but surprisingly they are not. ok, maybe because I wasn't familiar with Serangoon in the first place as well...haha...anyway after lunch we went to Bugis St and shop but everything doesn't seem to capture our heart(always happens XD)...lol..so we decided to leave the place and go to Jurong Pt...haha...yea back to jurong again where we have already been there in the morning...lol...well, we managed to get some things there but not clothes ..lol...shop till 7 and we went back home! And obviously, that ended our last to do list=D
